This is a 40-pin Berg to 4 x DB25 cable. It is used to connect peripherals to a DZV11 (M7957) 4-channel asynchronous multiplexer.
An engineering drawing and the wiring details are provided in the DZV11 Field Maintenance Print Set (MP-00462), on PDF page 44 of 50. The drawing suggests it was made only in a 25 foot version.

This is a 40-pin Berg loopback connector. It is used to test the DZV11.
