I acquired this printer on 5 August 2018.
It’s a 9-pin dot-matrix printer that prints on 76mm plain paper.
This is an old printer. According to the publication dates of the manuals, it dates from around 1999.
It came with a “forked” RS232 cable that splits out to DB9F and DB25F connectors. I have successfully used this printer via both the 9-pin and 25-pin connector.
Mine is currently set to 9600 baud, 8 data bits, no parity, XON/XOFF handshaking and 40 column mode.

Ribbons
Ribbons are available in single colour (black or purple) or two colour (black and red).
The “D” model (which I have) can take the red/black 2-colour ribbon. The ribbon part number is ERC-38, with a suffix of (P) for Purple, (B) for black, or (B/R) for black/red. Mine currently has a purple ribbon in it.
Here is a 6-pack of black/red ribbons on Amazon for AU$28.51 (April 2026).
