Current configuration

This is a basic 11/23 capable of booting RT-11 V5.3 from a TU58 emulator. It is also fitted with a working RLV11 controller.

The M8047 is fitted with boot ROMs. Currently it is configured to boot from a TU58 emulator, but with a configuration change it could boot from an RX02 drive instead.

On the M8047, the left-hand connector goes to the TU58 drive (38,400 baud) and the right-hand connector goes to the system console (9,600 baud).

The ROMs from a second M8047 (which is no longer fitted to the H9273 backplane) were removed and fitted to the M8047 that is still fitted to this system. To implement this change on the remaining M8047, a jumper between J21/J22 and J8 was removed (J21 continued to be linked to J22). J29 was already connected to J15, which selects the TU58 bootstrap. Optionally, the RX02 bootstrap could be selected instead by linking J29 to J16.

Original configuration

This BA11-N chassis originally did not have a switch panel. The one currently fitted was swapped in from a different BA11-N chassis.

This system originally included a second M8047 card. That other card was fitted with boot ROMs. According to the jumper settings, it was configured to run the RX02 bootstrap, but this was not tested. This board was causing a Bus Error trap and had to be removed from the system. The trap would occur even when executing a simple BR instruction (at an address outside the RAM range of the M8047).

It also originally included an M8029 (RXV21). That was removed on 31.08.2017 to use in another system.
